![]() Price Tariff 2011/2013 – All prices in sterling. Haybarn Cottage sleeps four (plus cot and pull out mattress for a child only). One double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. Bookings run from Friday to Friday.
The cottage is available for incoming guests from 3.00 pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow for changeover procedures. A maximum of 2 well behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge of £25.00 per pet but pets must not be allowed on to furniture or bedding and any soiling of carpets or furnishings/bedding etc must be removed and the item(s) properly cleaned and dried before 10.00 am on the day of departure. If the Cottage is damaged or left unreasonably untidy or dirty then the owners will be entitled to recover an additional sum (being not less than £30.00) to cover the cost of additional cleaning or the repair or replacement of damaged items at the Cottage
Electricity and full gas central heating is included in rental charge. The cottage has colour television and video (not currently connected), DVD player (connected), Freeview box, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, Senseo coffee maker, highchair and fridge. Bed linen and tea-towels are provided (personal towels are not provided). One marked parking space is included and limited visitors parking may be available on a first come first served basis.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE/Rental 1. Unless booking is made less than 8 weeks before the intended day of arrival a deposit of 25 per cent of the cost of the entire period of the intended booking (as set out in the accompanying schedule of booking charges) is required in cleared funds together with completed booking form duly signed by the person making the booking before the booking can be confirmed. Telephone bookings will be held for five days pending receipt of signed booking form and payment. The balance of the entire cost of the booking must be paid at least 8 weeks before the intended day of arrival and the entire cost of the booking must be paid immediately upon placing the booking in the event that booking takes place 8 weeks or less before the intended day of arrival. Once booked we regret that the total cost for the entire booking is payable irrespective of any intervening events affecting the person(s) placing the booking. Once a booking has been made, if the person who made the booking lodges with us a request in writing for cancellation of the same a refund of the amount paid for the booking, less an administration fee of £30.00, will be made only if we are able to re-let the accommodation for the same period and receive payment in full for such re-letting at a rate no less than the total cost of the original booking. If the re-letting is made at a lower rate than that agreed under this booking (and the terms of such re-letting shall be in the sole absolute discretion of the owners) then the refund will be the amount paid less the administration fee of £30.00 and less the amount by which the sum received for this booking exceeds the amount received for the re-letting. Please note that the balance of the amount due for this booking (after taking into account the deposit paid) must be paid at least 8 weeks before the intended day of arrival whether or not a request for cancellation of the booking has then been lodged with us, unless we have by that date received payment in full for any re-letting of the property which we may have been able to secure and a refund as set out above is then due to you. You are advised to take out your own holiday cancellation insurance in this respect. 2. The accommodation may be occupied from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. There is NO smoking in Haybarn Cottage. 3. We reserve the right to access at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies etc. 4. The cottage is cleaned between bookings but we ask you to ensure that the cottage and its contents are left reasonably clean and tidy when you depart. Please let us know of any damage or breakages so that we can repair or replace for the next visitors. We reserve the right to charge for any breakages to contents or fittings at the cottage or damage caused to decorative surfaces or furnishings during your stay 5. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the cottage is taken for holiday purposes only and that the number of people in the property is limited to that shown on the booking form. 6. We regret we cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to belongings or for any injury sustained while you are at Haybarn Cottage. 7. Some basic condiments and grocery items are usually left at the cottage and visitors are requested to replace any items which may be consumed or exhausted during their stay. 8. Should the accommodation not be available owing to circumstances beyond our control we will refund the amount of any money paid by you and in signing the booking form or paying a deposit on account of the total booking cost you confirm your agreement that our liability is limited to the refund of such money. 9. As pet lovers ourselves we welcome pets at the cottage but visitors must ensure that any pet does not disturb others with excessive barking or howling and that no pet is left alone in the cottage at any time. Please do not allow pets on soft furnishings and provide your own pet bedding. Visitors must also ensure that they remove immediately and dispose of hygienically any faeces deposited by their pet upon any of the grounds in which the cottage is set.
